Samory I is a Jamaican roots reggae artist known for his powerful, soulful voice and spiritually conscious lyrics. He rose to prominence with his debut album Black Gold in 2017, produced by Rory “Stonelove” Gilligan, and became a key figure in the revival of roots reggae. Samory’s music often explores themes of Rastafarianism, social justice, and personal struggles, reflecting his deep connection to his faith and heritage.

In 2023, he released his much-anticipated second album Strength, produced by Winta James. This album delves into personal and societal challenges and features collaborations with artists like Lila Iké, Jesse Royal, and Mortimer .
