Keznamdi (Keznamdi McDonald) The visionary, artist, and proactivist, Keznamdi is building a legacy with a celebrated catalog streamed over 20 million times, with sold-out tours across North America, the Caribbean, and beyond. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, to Rastafari parents with the iconic reggae outfit Chakula, Keznamdi was raised with a blend of musical and activist influences. Like his siblings, he faced constant discrimination for his livity and outlook, which only strengthened his resolve to rise above the cynics and live on his own terms. His life took a profound turn when his family moved to Tanzania and then Ethiopia, providing a colorful and enlightening backdrop for his creative palette

After a debilitating knee injury derailed a promising football career, Keznamdi dedicated himself to music, making his debut with the 2013 EP "Bridging the Gap," which scored #1 on both the iTunes and Billboard Reggae Albums Charts. He quietly built a fanbase with consistent performances and continued his rise with the 2017 project "Skyline Levels, Vol. 1," featuring the triumphant single "Victory" with Chronixx. In 2019, he released his critically acclaimed full-length debut, "Bloodline," a project that explored legacy and heritage, and was recorded at his family’s Skyline Levels studio.

His latest album, "BLXXD & FYAH," released in 2025, is a powerful statement blending roots reggae with modern influences. It features heavyweight collaborations with Mavado, Masicka, and his sister Kelissa, and includes the show-stopping singles "Identity Crisis" and "Bun Di Ganja."
